# Let your own AI run your COD workflow

COD PRO gives your own tools a safe way in. Create a scoped Agent API key and your agent can read orders, stats and wallet balance, confirm or cancel orders, release holds and send confirmations, and nothing beyond what you granted.

- Access: Agent API keys you create and revoke in COD PRO
- Permissions: Scopes per key, from read-only to full control
- Tools: 15 named tools across orders, customers, stats, wallet and settings
- AI clients: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenClaw and Lovable for read-only MCP questions

## Start here

1. [Create an Agent API key](/developers/agent-keys) and choose its scopes.
2. [Make your first call](/developers/api-quickstart) with curl or any HTTP client.
3. Prefer chat for read-only questions? [Connect an AI client over MCP](/developers/mcp-quickstart).

## Built for trust

Keys are stored hashed, every call is written to your activity log, tools that spend wallet credit have their own limit, and a single switch in COD PRO pauses all API access.

## FAQ

### Can I build my own AI agent for my COD PRO store?
Yes. Create an Agent API key with the scopes you want, and your agent can call COD PRO tools to read and act on your orders.

### Is it safe to give an AI agent access to my store?
Each key only gets the scopes you choose, a read-only key cannot change anything, every call is logged in COD PRO, and you can revoke a key or pause API access at any time.

### Can I ask Claude or ChatGPT about my COD orders?
Yes. The COD PRO MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenClaw and Lovable for read-only questions about your store. It is separate from the Agent API.

### What can an agent actually do?
Read order details, messages, customer history, statistics and wallet balance; confirm or cancel orders; release holds; send confirmations; change settings; and pause COD PRO, each behind its own scope.
