How sellers in Kuwait use COD PRO
Send Arabic or English confirmation messages after a Shopify cash-on-delivery order by WhatsApp, automated voice call, or email. On the voice call, the customer presses 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel. Auto mode tries email first, then WhatsApp, then a call, and stops as soon as the customer replies.
Real Shopify fulfillment holds can keep selected orders waiting for confirmation. Before checkout, the Buy with Cash on Delivery button can verify the shopper’s phone with a WhatsApp or SMS one-time code.

Getting started
Install COD PRO from the Shopify App Store, top up the prepaid wallet, and choose Arabic or English for customer messages. Select the post-order confirmation channels and create rules for orders that should receive a Shopify fulfillment hold. No Twilio or Meta account is needed.
Cash on delivery in Kuwait
In Kuwait, cash on delivery is الدفع عند الاستلام. Stores also use the English term cash on delivery or COD. Arabic and English are available for COD PRO customer messages, so the confirmation flow can follow the storefront language.
After checkout, COD PRO can contact the customer by WhatsApp, automated voice call, or email. During a call, the customer presses 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel. Auto mode tries the lowest-cost route first: email, followed by WhatsApp and then a call. It stops when the customer replies.
The Buy with Cash on Delivery button verifies a phone before Shopify checkout using a WhatsApp or SMS one-time code. SMS is limited to that pre-checkout code. It is not used to confirm an order after checkout.
Couriers and shipment updates
Kuwait sellers commonly use Aramex, DHL, FedEx, and UPS. COD PRO does not integrate directly with these couriers. Keep using your existing carrier account and parcel-booking process.
When the order is ready to ship, create the Shopify fulfillment and add the courier tracking. COD PRO sends the shipment notification with the tracking from that fulfillment. Review the tracking details in Shopify before completing fulfillment so the customer receives the correct update.
Example with and without the COD button
With the COD button: A shopper in Kuwait City chooses الدفع عند الاستلام, verifies their phone with a WhatsApp or SMS code, and finishes Shopify checkout with the matching number. The order arrives confirmed. The seller adds Aramex tracking to the Shopify fulfillment, which COD PRO uses for the shipment notification.
Without the COD button: A shopper completes the normal cash-on-delivery checkout. COD PRO sends a post-order WhatsApp confirmation in Arabic, while a real Shopify fulfillment hold keeps the order waiting. The customer confirms, the hold is released, and the seller later fulfills the order with the selected courier tracking.
